Portraits, a first for me

This is my first time trying to photograph a person, it was harder than I thought. I had a great model who was very patient with me. I really liked them in black and white more than color due to the different textures and shades of grey. Let me know what you think, and which ones you like!

Fall Drive in Swan Valley

I took these the other day out exploring. I have posted pictures of the waterfall before but these are just a new perspective. I also came across a huge herd of sheep and made some new friends. Let me know what you think about the color vs black and white! Enjoy!

Fall Experiments

Which is better? Color or Black & White?

I am still learning but it seems hard to get everything in focus, I do like the depth of field but I need to practice a bit more with it.

I think I like this in Black & White Better? It has very cool details and so many shades of gray for good texture.

Just a different perspective but I like the previous landscape version more I think.

This one was just a cool one of the Salt Lake Temple that I took a couple of falls ago.

In Over My Head

I was experimenting with some portraits and water blur. Here are just two recent ones that I like. ENJOY and please comment to let me know what you think!

  (COLOR, f/11, ISO-200, 5 sec.)

(B&W f/11, ISO-200, 5 sec.) I think I needed a better angle and a longer shutter to get a little more blur?

(f/5, ISO-800, 1/30 sec.)
